Clothing:
Wear layered clothing for comfort & warmth, rain or shine, and suitable waterproof shoes for walking/light hiking in the Great Alaskan outdoors.
Medication:
In the event of a weather delay out in the field, it is a good idea to carry any medication that you need with you.
Back to back events or flight:
Do not book your flight out of Anchorage the same day that you go on an all-day bear viewing excursion. Unforeseen delays, such as weather or sleeping bears blocking bridge or path, may delay your arrival back into Anchorage.
Prepare yourself:
If you are not used to flying in a small plane, it can be a little hard on the body the first time. Please get good rest, eat well, and drink lots of water. Let me know if you have any concerns before the flight. If so, taking some Non Drowsy Dramamine never hurts, just in case or wear a pressure band and or take some ginger tablets for example. These all can help. We don't want anything to spoil this amazing adventure. Let me know as soon as you feel uncomfortable during the flight and I can maybe change it up to help you feel better.
Cancellation policy:
Keep in mind that all flights are weather dependent and subject to change, delay, reschedule or cancel. We will do everything possible to give notice of a cancellation and also try our best to set up alternative transportation, however, if the flight is booked and the customers just happen to not show up and fail to cancel in advance by at least 14 days, the cost of the planned flight will be charged to the credit card holding the flight. You will not be charged if we have to cancel the flight for safety reasons, and although disappointed, everyone is safe.
Deposit:
We require a $200 non-refundable booking deposit. There is quite a lot of work that goes into each flight on your behalf for this very special adventure. If the weather is bad we often work even harder for you. We will first look at just delaying the flight if possible, then see if we
can reschedule and hopefully not cancel. If we have to cancel we will try our best to find another exciting activity for you or another carrier if our
pilot or airplane is not available due to mechanical or sickness let's say. We hope you understand and find the chance to fly in Alaska worth the
cost for what we do for you to enjoy a truly amazing experience. If it is sickness or mechanical you will receive a full refund.
Legal Notice
