This short trip takes you into a beautiful valley of the Chugach State Park with steep, rocky cliffs and high towering peaks with hanging glaciers On each side. Throughout the year, you can see some wildlife here but it’s really good in August and September as bears move into hibernation.. You will experience the thrill of flying in a versatile amphibious float plane. Take off of land, and then smoothly slide back onto water for the landing. Then with a taxi up and out of the lake to dry land. That’s right this is not just a float plane but an amphibious float plane that can take off and land on water and land.
